Frequently Asked Questions

Why CCEBT?

Our therapists are leaders in the field. Their collaborative approach and dedication to the well-being of their patients separates them from generalist practice in the field of eating disorders, anxiety and related disorders. They believe that individuals suffering from these conditions can recover and enjoy a high quality of life.

Why should I/we choose CCEBT for eating disorder treatment when we are being recommended to a higher level of care (residential, inpatient hospitalization, Partial Hospitalization)?

We believe that parents/patients should have a choice regarding eating disorder treatment.   Due to the seriousness of these illnesses we want individuals and their families/carers to be informed about treatment options as well as the outcomes of those treatments.  The methods that are delivered at CCEBT have demonstrated empirical support.  We believe that families/carers/individuals are not to be blamed for eating disorders, and instead are vital resources to the success of a treatment plan.

Do You Take Insurance?

Our practice providers are out of network with insurance.  If a provider is not in-network with your insurance plan, they are considered out-of-network. We recommend contacting your insurance to see if you may qualify for an in-network exception for specialized eating disorders treatment.

Many patients are still able to utilize insurance benefits to pay for a portion of therapy sessions with an out-of-network provider. This is  done by patients submitting a statement from our practice to the insurance provider and your insurance company may reimburse you directly. We cannot guarantee reimbursement from your insurance company.

What Are Your Fees/Payment?

Our practice operates on a fee-for-service basis. Fees are arranged between patient and clinician prior to beginning treatment in our program. Ensuring that evidence based treatment is accessible to those that may be unable to pay our typical fees is important to CCEBT. If you have concerns about paying for treatment at CCEBT please contact our clinic coordinator at contact@ccebt.com to inquire about our income-based reduced fee application process.
